20s/30s
At Fairmount Church

The 20s/30s Group at Fairmount Presbyterian Church is composed of motley mix of individuals between the age of 21-40 (and thereabouts) who seek to build community, serve others, explore the meaning of faith of spirituality, developing social responsibility and awareness.

We offer a welcoming environment for all people whether 100% convinced of your beliefs, if you are a seeker or an agnostic, or if you are struggling in forming your faith or beliefs. The 20’s/30’s often are seated in the right rear of the sanctuary at our 11 am services.

Theology on Tap
On the third Wednesday of every month, everyone is invited for lively conversation in a relaxed setting.  Come to the table with ideas for conversation starters, anything is game.  In the course of the night we aim to talk about where we see God active in the world and in our lives through the lens of the daily news.  It's like current events with a theological twist.  The conversation is always fun.  We hope to see you there.  We meet at Tavern Company, 2260 Lee Road  in Cleveland Heights at 7:30pm.

Sporadic Sunday Brunch
On about one Sunday a month after the 11am service the 20s/30s group heads out for a time of fellowship and food at one of the great restaurants we've got nearby. Which Sunday and what location move around each month, so get in touch and watch your email, the Facebook page, or the bulletin for the specifics each month.

Community Service
We seek to answer to the call to be the light of the world (Mat. 5.14) through service. We have an ongoing ministry helping Family Promise (formerly New Life Community) maintain an apartment for families struggling to avoid homelessness. In the past we have tutored with 6th, 7th and 8th graders, hosted a sweetheart dance at the Judson Nursing Home, served at Bethany Church’s soup kitchen and are constantly expanding in the ways we take part in mission.
