Andersen Hall

The original Sanctuary from the 1922 Parish House, Andersen Hall was known as the Great Hall for many years after the completion of the new Sanctuary in 1942.

The Tapestry of Joy (large fabric mural covering the south wall) was added in the mid 70's. The Great Hall was renamed Andersen Hall to honor the Rev. Hank Andersen, Senior Pastor from 1974 to 1987.

Read about the symbolism portrayed in the Tapestry of Joy.

Today, Andersen Hall is used for large Church meetings, dinners, receptions, recitals and concerts and Sunday morning coffee hour. Visitors are encouraged to pick up literature from the visitors information rack at the west entrance.
