Sunday Morning Church School
11:15 - 12:15

Room #7 downstairs in the Children’s Ministry wing.

older elementary studentsBeginning in the 1st Grade children accompany their parents to the Sanctuary for the first part of worship. During worship all children are invited forward for the Children’s Message, which is a time in worship for conversation specifically with the children. After the Children’s Message the children accompany their teachers downstairs for Church School.

Church School dismisses at 12:15 so parents have a few moments after worship to greet one another at the Coffee Hour before heading downstairs to pick your child(ren).

CHILDREN & MISSION/STEWARDSHIP

Health Kits for China Earthquake relief

The children voted to collect their weekly offerings to be used towards Hygiene Kits, being produced by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, to support our brothers and sisters who endured tragedy in China after their recent earthquake. We have already collected enough for 16 kits.

Hygiene Kit
1 — hand towel (approximately 16" x 28", no fingertip or bath towels)
1 — washcloth
1 — wide-tooth comb
1 — nail clipper (no metal files or emery boards)
1 — bar of soap (bath size in wrapper)
1 — toothbrush (in original packaging)
6 — Band-Aids® or other adhesive bandage strips

We are collecting money for these kits to help our children know and understand that they too are agents of mission who can have an impact in the world.

[Church School Registration Form]
Please fill out the Church School Registration form which will help our Church school teachers and staff nurture the faith and life of your child. You can download the form and return it to your child’s Church School teacher on Sunday mornings.

Family Worship Sundays
On the first Sunday of every month is Family Worship Sunday. While our Faith Formation classes for our preschoolers continue to meet, our elementary age children (grades 1st - 6th grades) join their families and their Church Family for the entire worship service, including the sacrament of Communion in which they play a special part.

You are invited to look on our Children in Worship page for helpful tips and strategies for worshipping with children.
