Children's & Family Ministries

The Mission of the Children's and Families Ministries Committee is to welcome everyone as beloved children of God and to engage, empower, and nurture their faith and lives.
We feel blessed to partner with parents to nurture the faith and life of children. We seek to nurture a positive and dynamic relationship with God through our church school programs, our mutual care, our family activities, our family mission projects, and our fellowship.
The members of Fairmount recognize the innate faith with which God blesses children and believes that each child’s faith enriches the entire church family.
Understanding that parents are the primary faith shapers for children we seek to nurture the faith of our parents so they feel better equipped to guide and nurture their children’s spirituality.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. 6 Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. 7 Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:4-7
