Church Life

What are you looking for? Whom do you seek? Jesus asked these questions as a way of engaging people, of helping them to discover the path that would lead to abundant life. At Fairmount you will find opportunities to worship, deepen relationships with God and other people, and serve in ways that make a difference in the world. We invite you to join us on the journey.

Session
Session is the governing board of the church composed of 24 elected Elders and the Pastor. The Session maintains oversight of the church's worship and ministry.

Trustees
This group is charged by the Session with the oversight of the property and finances of the church according to guidelines and policies established by the Session.

Deacons
The Deacons provide care and nurture of the congregation through home visit to the home bound, flower delivery to hospitals, the provision of hospitality to members and various other activities. The Deacon's Schedule

Evangelism
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19

As Christians we are called to share our faith. The Evangelism Council welcomes all inquirers to come and learn about and experience a new life in Christ.
