Sunday Morning Church School Options for Senior Highs
9:45 - 10:45 am.

Confirmation: (9th Graders)
This class engages participants in conversations about our beliefs and practices of discipleship. During the year our Confirmands stretch their theological muscles as we discuss the Bible, church history, worship, sacraments, and other faith traditions.
Being a part of the Confirmation class involves participation in worship services, mission projects, and weekend retreats on top of our weekly Sunday morning classes.  In addition to these components each student is partnered with a mentor. This is a year like no other.  We look forward to this partnering with our youth participants for this part of their faith journeys. 

Senior High Church School (10th - 12th grades):
We will not have a regular Sunday morning church school class for our 10th – 12th graders.  Instead we invite and encourage you to participate in our Adult Education class in the Chapel or volunteer to serve as a helper/teacher in one of our children’s education classes.  We are happy to help you connect with Betsy Wooster to arrange this opportunity. 

High School Youth Group
1st and 3rd Sundays of the month
12:15 PM – 2:00 PM

The High School and Middle School Youth Groups will share lunch together in the Dining Room.  After lunch we will split into our different groups for a time full of recreation, spiritual nurture, and mission reflection. 

These opportunities will help us grow strong in faith in the midst of a community of friendship, support and nurture.

Monthly Mission Opportunity
We meet on the 2nd Friday of EVERY month for a time of Mission and Fellowship
Meet at 4:45pm in the church parking lot to serve dinner at the Bethany Presbyterian Community Meal, which provides hot meals to those in need in their urban neighborhood.   We help serve a hot meal and then clean up before returning to Fairmount.

Afterwards we meet back in the church parking lot at 7:45pm before heading out for our Friday Night Fun. These activities change each month depending on seasonal activities, but have included: Lock-ins, Lock-outs, movie and discussions, dinner, laser tag, haunted houses, etc… Let Eric Dillenbeck know if you have ideas.

Sept. 14th, Oct. 12th, Nov. 9th, Dec. 14th, Jan. 11th, Feb. 8th, March 8th, April 12th, May 10th, June 14th & July 12th.
