ABOUT OUTDOOR WORSHIP
The beauty of the natural world prompts our praise to the Creator. Weather permitting; we'll worship outdoors on June 20, July 18, and August 22.  Music will be provided by church members and friends accompanied by acoustic guitar, keyboard, and other instruments.  Feel free to dress casually and bring a blanklet if you'd like to sit on the lawn.

September 2010 

Regular program year resumes September 12
Sunday Worship at 8:30 and 11 am

• September 5  Our candidate for ministry, Logan Skelly, will preach and members of the Elders Association will serve communion. 

• September 12 [8:30 and 11]  CELEBRATE SUNDAY!  It's a family reunion! It's an open-house for the neighborhood!  Pastor Louise will preach, teachers and choirs will be commissioned, and we'll enjoy a picnic lunch at noon, with chicken provided and the rest potluck. 

• September 19  Pastor Louise will preach, elders and deacons will be ordained and installed, and trustees will be dedicated.

• September 26  Pastor Louise will preach, the confirmation class will be introduced, Bibles will be presented to 3rd graders

Evening Prayer in the candlelit chapel September 1, 7 PM.  Prayers for healing and wholeness, simple songs, opportunity for walking meditation on the labyrinth.  Pastor Louise leads this service, with Gretchen Hess as liturgist, and Bob Moncrief on the piano.
